Our real estate investments center on ownership of distinctive, marquee properties, complemented by partnerships with leading operators in a range of sectors. Working with a national scope, we are committed to architectural significance and lasting financial and social value.

Our cornerstone holdings are The Wrigley Building and the Belden Stratford: heritage buildings that bring together vintage detail and today’s amenities, honoring the past and ensuring its relevance. The Wrigley Building, the Beaux-Arts office tower that heralds the Magnificent Mile, is synonymous with Chicago. As it enters its second century, the stately white-terra-cotta landmark remains a striking presence at the city’s heart.

Another marker of Chicago’s exuberance in the 1920s, the Belden Stratford is a quintessential example of the city’s historic, luxurious residential hotels. Today, the Belden Stratford is home to a lively, multifaceted community in updated apartments with expansive views of Lincoln Park and Lake Michigan.

The most recent addition to our portfolio is the iconic Waldorf Astoria Chicago, which is a 215-room, 26-floor, Parisienne-inspired luxury hotel in the heart of Chicago’s Gold Coast neighborhood.

The hotel and condo tower was designed by the Chicago architect Lucien Lagrange and features colonnades, a European-style fountain courtyard, and other opulent design flourishes. Located one block from the Magnificent Mile, the gorgeous property adds even more elegance to the neighborhood known for its beautiful mansions and historic architecture.

Additionally, in the up-and-coming West Humboldt Park community sits our newest commercial project, The Terminal, at 1334 North Kostner Ave. In partnership with Chicago-based developer IBT Group, we have begun the first phase of the redevelopment process of this sprawling, 100-year-old property, which will be converted into an urban workspace campus for makers, creatives and innovators, designed to fit in with the existing character of the neighborhood.

The property is comprised of one main industrial building and two warehouses which were originally occupied by the Pyle-National Company beginning in 1916. Pyle-National used the space to manufacture headlights and other lighting and electrical equipment for railroad use and built the lighting system that still illuminates the Wrigley Building to this day. The massive 250,000 square-foot space on 6.9 acres will be renovated inside and out and will feature soaring ceilings, wide windows, and an outdoor courtyard space. The first phase of project is expected to be completed by early 2021, with subsequent phases stretching into 2023.

We invest in commercial, multi-family, and hotel properties.  We seek experienced, strategic partners who are dedicated to distinguished design and growing long-term value.
